Read MoreOn Friday September 8, 2017 eighty four musicians took the stage at Severance Hall to allow their gift of music to serve those affected by the devastating hurricanes in Texas and Florida. The full orchestra included musicians from The Cleveland Orchestra together with students from the Oberlin Conservatory and the Cleveland Institute of Music: 18 Credo alumni and faculty among them.

Read MoreCredo Music welcomes Henry Peyrebrune as its first Executive Director. Appointed by the Board of Directors effective July 17, 2017, he joins Founder and Artistic Director Peter Slowik to lead Credo in its next phase of growth. Mr. Peyrebrune has been a bassist in The Cleveland Orchestra since 1997 – a position he will retain. From 2014 – 2017, he also worked as a gift officer on the Orchestra’s Philanthropy & Advancement team.

This passion for contemporary music has led to playing in Oberlin’s contemporary music ensemble, participating in specialized new music academies, and forming their own new music ensembles. One of these ensembles is Trio Ligatura.
